It's About Time This Book Was Written!!

When I think back to times I strayed away from God, there was always a lie (or lies) underneath it all that I started to believe that started me off course. It's so easy to see how our battles start in our mind, with the thousands of thoughts that zip through it every day. Brian exposes the truth - that these little negative thoughts are NOT little, because when we repeat them over and over to ourselves, we come to believe them. And what we believe then gets played out in our life through our actions.
I have worked with positive affirmations before. Repeating "positive type" sentences over and over, but they always seemed empty. Who's "truths" were these that I was repeating? Since the Truth is always grounded in God's Word, Coach Brian gives us a book full of Biblical Affirmations to use that are NOT empty but truly the way to living out God's plan for us and growing closer to Him. This is a great book for daily meditation and also as a reference tool for staying on course! I'm on March 20th and loving how God is changing me already!

Great Follow-Up to Walk With God Today

I read Coach Williams's first book, Walk With God Today, and was very pleased with it. Whereas Walk With God Today was a devotional book, Talk Truth to Yourself contains daily Scriptures and affirmations. You can read each book independently, but I think it's helpful to have both books.
This book has 365 daily Bible verses along with an affirmation that you can say/pray. Each daily verse is powerful and centering. Reading this book each day is a good way to stay on track with the Lord.
This is a book that you'll want to keep on reading - even past the day you're on. I found myself reading ahead & jumping all around the book to see what I'd find. There's a lot of joy, peace and encouragement packed in this book!
In addition to Bible, this would be a great book to keep with you, so that whenever you feel scared, lonely, sad or discouraged, you can pick it up, start reading it and feel so much better!
And, if you're interested in memorizing Scripture verses, this book provides a wonderful grouping of Bible verses to memorize.
I enjoyed it very much! Worth a whole lot more than the Kindle price!

Incredible Resource!!

I am SO glad that I bought this book! It is apparent that the affirmations, which go with the associated scripture verses, were very thoughtfully and prayerfully created. What a blessing to be able to jot down one of the affirmations on a sticky note or put it in my phone and carry it with me throughout my day. It can be easy to let the demands and stresses of life weigh us down, but when we see God's word in black and white along with an inspirational affirmation... it truly does speak truth to our heart and mind. It has provided me with sweet reminders of how God values me, where my hope lies, and that I can truly trust Him in everything. What a phenominal book! Thank you, Brian for your willingness to include your own story and your heart to give this incredible gift to others. I highly recommend this book!
